The event was organized by The Nature of Cities (TNOC) and a range of collaborating partners. A participative workshop was organized by the Post-2020 Biodiversity Framework – EU Support project team, ICLEI, and the SCBD, and aimed to collect recommendations from participants on an action agenda for biodiversity, but also co-develop a roadmap for cities, metropolitan areas and subnational governments for the Post-2020 GBF. The global objective was to instill a global dynamism and build momentum to support the adoption of an ambitious agreement at COP 15. The event resulted in the development of a common road map for cities, metropolitan areas, local and subnational governments towards “Living in Harmony with Nature” – Strengthening the momentum for a Post-2020 Biodiversity Framework.
