The “Aburrá Valley – Medellin Declaration of Metropolitan Areas to the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework” was adopted by the 17 metropolitan area authorities and 27 other local and subnational governments from 12 countries that met in Medellin, Colombia, with 129 relevant partners, from 17 to 19 July 2019, to contribute to the process of defining the Post-2020 GBF.
