This event, taking place on 6 November, 2021, 2:30pm – 4:00 pm UK time in the Multi-level Action Pavilion, Blue Zone, is organised by the Scottish Government, in cooperation with NatureScot and the Edinburgh Process partners (including the European Committee of the Regions, ICLEI, Regions4, Government of Québec, the Group of Leading Subnational Governments toward Aichi Biodiversity Targets, Welsh Government and Government of California.
This event aims to highlight the contributions of the Edinburgh Process and its resulting Declaration to the upcoming discussions of the 15th meeting of the Convention on Biological Diversity taking place in April – May 2022 in Kunming, China; and will explore how this successful story can be replicated in the UNFCCC context by hearing from the experience of signees and important stakeholders.
